While attending Rhode Island College, I worked as a graphic designer in the Student Activities Marketing office. I did this from September 2016 to May 2018, when I graduated. As a designer in this office I produced ads for student organizations as well as some college departments. These ads included posters, flyers, TV ads, email blasts, social media assets, etc. Students would come in and fill out an order form, and we as designers had a strict 2 week turnaround time to create their work, which included sharing proofs and making revisions. Sometimes the students, who were moreso our clients, would have a specific vision for their work which we would try and produce for them. Other times, they trusted our instincts as designers and let us take the reigns. I made many ads while I was employed here, but I’ve chosen a few that I particularly like to show here.
